A further 1,155 people in Tamil Nadu have been diagnosed with corona infection today.
According to the Department of Public Welfare, more than 5.74 crore corona tests have been conducted in the state so far. Of these, 27 lakh 48,045 have been confirmed infected. According to the test results released today, a maximum of 589 people have been diagnosed in Chennai. Meanwhile, another 603 left Corona and returned home.

This brings the total number of survivors so far to 27 lakh 03,799. According to the Department of Health, there are currently 7,470 people under medical supervision in hospitals and homes. The death toll from the disease has risen to 36,776 in Tamil Nadu following a further 11 deaths due to corona infection.
Omicron: According to the Department of Public Welfare, another 74 people in Tamil Nadu have been diagnosed with omega. Of the 120 samples tested, 74 were confirmed to be infected. Already 46 people have been diagnosed with omega-3 infections and 74 more have been confirmed to be infected. As a result, the number of omega-3 infections in Tamil Nadu has increased to 120.
