After the election day of June 2, the TEECH has received 76 Nonconformity Judgments against the elections of members of municipal councils in 49 municipalities, including Jiquipilas. And it has a deadline of August 31 to resolve them.
Subsequently, the Xalapa Regional Chamber and the Superior Chamber of the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Branch of the Federation (TEPJF) have until September 30 to rule on any lawsuit filed, if any, against the sentences issued by the TEECH.

The Non-Compliance Trial is the one that proceeds to challenge the results stage and declaration of validity of the elections and can be promoted by political parties and in some cases, by the candidates, to challenge the results of the municipal and district counts, the nullity of the vote in one or several polling stations or the total nullity of one of the elections that were held.
