Sexually transmitted diseases are becoming more common again: This is indicated by the statistics of the World Health Organization (WHO) in recent years. For Austria, the data situation is difficult due to the limited obligation to report diseases such as syphilis and gonorrhea (gonorrhea). According to the Vienna Municipal Department 15, however, “a certain trend towards an increase in infections” can be seen.
