The study conducted by the LMS-CSA firm confirms that retirees often tend to change sectors, moving from public to private or from employee to entrepreneur, or changing professional activity altogether. These changes are aimed at generating additional income and ensuring their personal development while using the free time left after retirement.

Moroccan seniors belong mainly to the middle and wealthy classes, and are experiencing various changes, such as the reduction or cessation of professional activity, the departure of children from the family home, the evolution of income and the decline of physical abilities.
By providing information and data on elderly people and retirees in Morocco, this report seeks to reveal the needs, interests and behaviours of retirees, thus facilitating the understanding of this category by economic actors and service providers, in order to provide services tailored to their needs.
