In order to increase its development and accelerate its growth at the national and regional level, the 100% Moroccan startup founded in 2020, is opening its capital to Azur Innovation Fund, a public-private seed investment fund that finances innovative startups in Morocco, PrestaFreedom indicates in a press release.

Thanks to its business model with high development potential, PrestaFreedom has succeeded in raising several funds to support its various phases of growth.

Today, with a fundraising of around 11 MDH from Azur Innovation Fund, PrestaFeeedom is seeking to develop its logistics and technological chains in order to align with the growth of the company and the expansion of the range of services offered to customers.

In particular, the management aims for regional expansion in the major cities of the Kingdom, and even in Africa by 2024, which will be made possible thanks to this new fundraising.

“We are proud of this growth opportunity offered to us by our Azur Innovation Fund partners. This is a decisive step in the development of this startup that I launched a few years ago to meet a specific need and whose success today exceeds the most optimistic forecasts,” stressed Majid Benslimane, founder and CEO of PrestaFreedom, quoted in the press release.

And to support: “It is a new profession centered on people and which meets major requirements in terms of quality, safety and efficiency.”

Founded in 2020, PrestaFreedom is a service platform that offers a recurring and personalized cleaning subscription giving access to a wide range of services to help individuals in their daily lives: dry cleaning, gardening, rodent control, repairs, DIY and grooming, laundry collection, pool maintenance, shopping, etc. The customer can choose their service according to their needs and constraints, in complete freedom.

Once these major launch and consolidation phases have been successful, management is setting its sights on regional expansion in the Kingdom’s major cities, and even in Africa by 2024. Today, this 100% Moroccan company has almost 1,000 recurring subscribers, which it counts
multiply by 10 in the medium term.

In terms of human resources, Majid Benslimane recalled that PrestaFreedom is “firmly anchored in the path of strengthening the skills of its human resources, highlighting the investment effort oriented towards specific professional training”.

PrestFreedom employs around a hundred people who work directly with customers (surface technicians, team leaders, supervisors, etc.). “These people have left the informal sector and precariousness and now benefit from a decent and secure work environment with social security coverage and career opportunities for a better quality of personal and professional life,” noted the company’s CEO.

Beyond its growth potential, the startup has attracted its investors with its strong roots in the fields of CSR. Indeed, in terms of human capital, PrestaFreedom employs around a hundred employees from the informal sector.

These employees thus benefit from a secure working environment, social security coverage, professional training plans and career management guaranteeing interesting development for those who deserve it.
