The Emirati diplomat specified, in a statement to MAP on the occasion of the celebration of the glorious Throne Day, that the economic and social indicators as well as the geopolitical reality clearly show that Morocco “occupies an influential position on the world stage thanks to the unique soft power that it exercises.”
He added that His Majesty the King has continued to strengthen the image of Morocco as a united country, a land of religious coexistence, a melting pot of civilizations and a source of inspiration for other countries.
The diplomat cited, as examples, the National Initiative for Human Development, the Royal Initiative promoting access of Sahel states to the Atlantic Ocean, and the proactive approach adopted by the Kingdom for the management of crises and disasters such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the Al Haouz earthquake.
The stature enjoyed by the Kingdom, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, “illustrates an inspiring success story thanks to the values that Morocco boasts, which are based on the strong symbiosis between the Throne and the people,” said the Emirati ambassador, specifying that this symbiosis has manifested itself in the humanitarian, social and political fields to meet current challenges and future constraints.
According to the diplomat, the values of solidarity and communion carried by the Sovereign are also reflected in the excellence of the fraternal relations linking the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Morocco, marked by the establishment of an innovative, renewed and rooted partnership between the two countries, aimed at enhancing bilateral relations and common cooperation towards broader horizons, thanks to the wisdom and foresight of the Heads of State of the two countries, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Ben Zayed Al-Nahyane and his brother His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
