Morocco-Bulgaria: signing of two cooperation agreements in the fields of cinematography, education and scientific research

Initialed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mariya Gabriel, these two agreements aim to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, based on friendship, dialogue, solidarity and cooperation.

The first agreement on co-production and cinematographic exchange aims to develop and strengthen cooperation between Morocco and Bulgaria through the facilitation of joint production of cinematographic works, the development of the film industries in both countries and the increase of their cultural and commercial exchanges in this field.

The second agreement represents a three-year programme of cooperation in the fields of education, higher education, scientific research, culture, communication, youth and sports for the years 2024-2026.

Its aim is to promote the exchange of information and experiences between Morocco and Bulgaria in the field of education and teaching, encourage academic cooperation between the two countries and promote better mutual understanding of their culture.

The programme also aims to develop cooperation between the two countries in the field of television and radio, encourage collaboration between national cinematographic institutions, share experiences in the field of youth and promote cooperation in the field of sports.
