Rabat – Morocco and France are called upon to design a new generation of partnerships in energy transition to meet the challenges posed by climate change, underlined, Tuesday in Rabat, the Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, Leila Benali.

“Morocco and France will have to work together in an intelligent and concerted way to achieve a new generation of partnerships to meet the challenges of climate change and enable the populations of both shores of the Mediterranean to do so in one way. sustainable manner”, indicated the minister, following an interview with the Minister Delegate to the French Minister for Ecological Transition, Energy, Climate and Risk Prevention, in charge of Energy , Olga Givernet, and the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Investment, Convergence and the evaluation of public policies, Karim Zidane.

The agreements concluded between the two countries in the areas of green hydrogen and energy transition make it possible to realize the enlightened vision of HM King Mohammed VI and the French President, HE Emmanuel Macron, so that Morocco and France play the role that belongs to them in decompartmentalizing Africa, noted Ms. Benali during a press briefing.

The minister also welcomed the regular holding of strategic dialogue between the two countries to address technological risks, price volatility and inflationary risks, calling for the promotion of a win-win bilateral partnership worthy of the 21st century and these two great civilizations.
