Speaking at the opening of the Morocco-France Economic Meeting, Ms. Fettah cited as an initiative more particularly the development of renewable energies, an area where Morocco has made significant progress, particularly in solar and wind power.
In this wake, she noted that France, a pioneer in green technologies, can bring its expertise to strengthen these efforts, noting that the field of digital transformation offers opportunities for the creation of startups and innovation, allowing both countries to work together to stimulate the digital economy.
“Sustainable mobility is another sector where our visions converge, with joint initiatives to promote environmentally friendly transport and reduce our carbon footprint,” said the minister, stressing that these collaborations could not only contribute to growth economic growth of both countries, but also have a positive impact on Africa and the rest of the world.

For his part, the president of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), Chakib Alj, underlined the importance of putting in place new foundations to strengthen economic relations between Morocco and France, within the framework of a mutually beneficial partnership.
He also placed emphasis on the mobilization of the Moroccan private sector, but also that of Moroccan skills and entrepreneurs established in France to support the major growth of the Moroccan economy, by accelerating the pace of investment in throughout the national territory and by weaving new solid, reliable and “win-win” partnerships.
Furthermore, Mr. Alj indicated that this economic meeting is a favorable opportunity for frank and pragmatic exchanges around the challenges to be faced together and the responses and solutions to be formulated, while capitalizing on everything that has already been achieved.
Organized by the CGEM and the Mouvement des Entreprises de France (MEDEF) under the theme “Together towards a renewed momentum for economic and social opportunities”, this meeting brought together more than 500 Moroccan and French economic leaders. It was notably marked by the participation of the French Minister of the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, Bruno Le Maire, and the President of MEDEF, Patrick Martin.
