Organized by the Moroccan Embassy in the Philippines, the Moroccan National Tourism Office and the Filipino chain of stores Rustan’s, the festival offers an immersion in Morocco’s artisanal heritage. “Through the different products on display, visitors become familiar with the components of Moroccan cultural heritage and discover certain traditions of the country, notably local products and interior decoration,” notes Happy Ongpauco, design consultant, emphasizing that the Moroccan products are known for their quality and reflect the unique talent of their artisans.

“This exhibition of Moroccan craft products aims to raise awareness of artistic talent and the richness of Moroccan culture,” she added.

The “Morocco: Kingdom of Light” festival, held from September 19 to December 31 in Manila, aims to bring Morocco closer to Filipinos through various aspects, including its culture, music, arts, cuisine and traditions.

It is part of the Moroccan National Tourism Office’s “Kingdom Of Light” international campaign, designed to inspire a new generation of travelers, by showcasing the attractions and experiences of a “contemporary and dynamic” nation. .
