“Enjoying institutional and macro-economic stability, Morocco is today in a position to allow international companies to address an immediate market of nearly 450 million consumers in West Africa and nearly “a billion across the entire continent,” said Ms. Fettah at the opening of the Morocco-France Economic Meeting.

From Morocco, it is possible not only to benefit from an attractive legal and tax framework, infrastructure to international standards, but also to rely on a financial and service ecosystem offering a complete spectrum to operators wishing to develop. in Africa, she explained.

The minister noted that this remains, however, dependent on close collaboration between private sector actors who have common characteristics, or even a common “culture” allowing them to consider very close partnerships to position themselves on projects to be high added value.

Organized jointly by the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) and the French Business Movement (MEDEF) under the theme “Together towards a renewed momentum for economic and social opportunities”, this meeting brings together more than 500 Moroccan and French economic leaders. .

This event is marked by the participation of the Minister of the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty of France, Bruno Le Maire, the President of the CGEM, Chakib Alj, and the President of the MEDEF, Patrick Martin.
