Flash floods that hit several areas in southeastern Morocco caused heavy losses and turned some areas into isolated and disaster-stricken areas.

Moroccan media reported, “The center of the towns of Midelt, Goulmima, Tindad, Tinghir, Kelaat M’Gouna, Imilchil, and most of the areas around Ouarzazate have turned into open valleys.”
She said, “The water, which rose to 30 centimeters according to local media sources, flooded many houses and farms, cutting off the roads to these areas and isolating them from the outside world.”
She continued, “Two women were killed as a result of the heavy torrential rain that swept through the roundabout of Amasin, the community of Agram Noukdal, as a result of the heavy floods that hit the province of Ouarzazate.”
According to the Moroccan media, the affected people appealed to the local and regional authorities. In order to intervene urgently to save them and provide the necessary assistance due to the difficult circumstances in which they live.
