Speaking at the headquarters of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) in the large conference room that was full for the occasion, Mr. Azoulay welcomed the “unprecedented but so meaningful opportunity that was given to him today to speak before ICESCO.”
“What other country than my country, Morocco, could have embodied as we do together this morning, this lucid, determined and taboo-free message of what diversity, citizenship and pluralism can be and can say in the land of Islam,” stressed the Advisor to HM the King, who was the guest of the “Interviews of the Future” initiative, organized by the Center for Strategic Foresight of ICESCO.
“This is neither a protocol exercise nor a circumstantial statement,” added Mr. Azoulay, highlighting “the exceptional aggiornamento that Morocco is experiencing and which consecrates the pioneering and visionary nature of the strategic choices and reforms implemented by HM King Mohammed VI, reforms which have consecrated Moroccan exemplarity within a Community of Nations in search of benchmarks and which has now taken the true measure of this Moroccan reality which has imposed itself on all.”
This Moroccan reality is today carried and embodied by the greatest number, stressed in conclusion the Advisor to HM the King by strongly recalling “the consensus every day broader, more committed, more militant and more voluntarist of the Moroccan civil society listening to all the narratives and which with pride makes its own this dynamic for more and better of a Morocco which has become the international reference of the art of all possibilities”.
For his part, ICESCO Director-General Salim M. Al Malik said that this conference aims to promote ideas with transformative potential to shape our common future.
“Through deep dialogues and exchanges, we are navigating a universe rich with infinite possibilities and unveiling bold concepts that can redefine the world that awaits us,” Mr. Al Malik stressed.
The aim, he continued, is to “delve into topics that are of increasing importance in an era marked by continuous mutations, changing economic paradigms, complex societal challenges and, above all, unprecedented technological progress.”
Through this conference, “we will venture, together, beyond the limits of conventional wisdom, harnessing the power of the collective intellect to uncover profound insights that will illuminate our path to a brighter future,” concluded Mr. Al Malik.
