Morocco-United Arab Emirates: a multidimensional partnership looking to the future (Tunisian political scientist)
Tunis – The Declaration “Towards an innovative, renewed and rooted partnership between the Kingdom of Morocco and the State of the United Arab Emirates”, signed in Abu Dhabi by HM King Mohammed VI and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Ben Zayed Al-Nahyane, lays the foundations for multidimensional cooperation aimed at a more prosperous future for the two countries, said Tunisian political scientist Mohamed Nejib Ouerghi.
This is a strategic partnership that aims to further strengthen the exemplary bilateral cooperation, thus confirming the quality and depth of the friendly relations that unite Morocco and the United Arab Emirates, the Tunisian expert told MAP.
Considering the importance of the sectors concerned by this partnership, the memoranda of understanding signed during the Royal Visit to the State of the United Arab Emirates are likely to consolidate the achievements made by Morocco in different areas under the wise leadership of HM King Mohammed VI and to lay the foundations for comprehensive and sustained development in the Kingdom, he added.
The scope and prospects of these memoranda demonstrate the will of the Heads of State of the two countries to raise the bilateral partnership to higher levels, in line with the legitimate ambitions of Morocco and the United Arab Emirates, especially since this partnership covers a multitude of strategic sectors, vectors of accelerated growth, shared, sustainable development and opportunities.
They also reflect the Sovereign’s resolute desire to give new impetus to the major reform projects initiated in the Kingdom, whether on the economic or social level, Mr. Ouerghi stressed.
