The Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Police Headquarters have dismissed assistant police inspector Jerome for his involvement in a multi-crore fraud case related to a fake jewelry mortgage. The incident involved Kailash from Rajathi Nagar, Karaikal, who owns a jewelry shop at Peramaswamy Pillai Street. The Karaikal City Police Station registered a case against him for trying to sell fake jewelry, and during the investigation, they discovered that Jerome Jesmond and his female friend Bhuvaneshwari were involved in the fraud. Jerome Jesmond was subsequently arrested.
A complaint was lodged with the Karaikal City Police Station on behalf of the bank management regarding fake jewelry worth around Rs.
