New Year’s festival “Journey to Christmas” will be held in the capital from December 10 to January 9. This was reported by the “Moscow” agency with reference to the press service of the mayor’s office.
The festival will feature 18 skating rinks, a curling court and fairground chalets. As in previous years, carousels will operate, but with additional sanitary security measures. Teddy bears will take some of the places on them to maintain social distance. After each session, they will be disinfected.
The festival skating rinks can be accessed by appointment through the Moscow Seasons application, the project website, or by calling the hotline. At the entrance to the fairground, visitors will be measured the temperature.
Earlier, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced that the “Journey to Christmas” festival this year will be held for the first time since the start of the pandemic.
