The Russian government presents the measure as a “response” to what it calls “the Russophobic line pursued by the Biden administration with the declared aim of ‘inflicting a strategic defeat on Moscow'”. “In addition to leaders and officials at various levels of law enforcement and intelligence services, the heads of major companies in the military-industrial complex and financial institutions that supply weapons to the Ukrainian armed forces”, says the note from the Russian Foreign Ministry reported by Tass. “The Stop List initiative also includes editors and reporters” of what Moscow calls “important liberal-globalist publications”.
