“Moshe Jan Forever” won the tournament in memory of Sean Carmeli

The traditional members’ tournament in memory of the soldier, Sean Carmeli, was held tonight (Monday) at the “Goulasso” complex in Kiryat Yam for the fourth year in a row. The tournament was attended by about 300 people, parents and children, coaches, past players such as Alon Harazi, Maccabi Haifa players Maor Levy and Roi Fox and of course Alon Carmeli, the late Sean’s father. Even before the opening of the tournament in Carmeli’s memory, an exciting ceremony was held led by Kol Raga radio broadcaster Ziv Amuyal, in which Ido Strauss, Rafael Kabsa and Alon Carmeli spoke, an exciting presentation was screened in Sean’s and a second Hanukkah candle was lit. At the end of the ceremony, hundreds of people in attendance stood and for a minute applauded Sean.

The colorful and exciting tournament was attended by 16 teams: Sean’s friends, Safed Gunners, Misgav Old Boys, FC Rommema, Bustan Hayotarim, Brothers for Life, Friends of Knorpel, Merom Galil, The Stars from the Krayot, Tadiran, Blancos, The Talents from the North, Golani Zav 13th Battalion The Silence, “Maccabi Radio, Urbani Shlomi and Moshe Jan Forever. Contributed to the event: Radio Maccabi and Rafael Kabsa, the “Goulasso” complex, Ido Strauss, Ilan Ganish, Kobi Asaig who organized the tournament, the Yaron Hanasi liquor center, the “Vivino” restaurant in Zichron Yaacov and Lior Burns for the amplification.

The “Moshe Jan forever” team that defeated Tadiran 1: 2 in overtime in the overtime qualified for the final, and the Merom Hagalil team that defeated FC Rommema in the semifinals.
