Anti-mosquito treatments in the parks of the municipality of Fontevivo. Mayor Tommaso Fiazza comments. “In recent weeks there has been a clear proliferation of mosquitoes, for this reason we have decided to carry out a further step of adulticide treatment in the municipal parks, as foreseen in the municipal plan against the tiger mosquito, together with a cutting of the greenery. In the parks the treatment was carried out in the early morning today by assigned personnel.
Once a month we have carried out larvicidal treatments in all public drains and in all public places where water usually accumulates, the next step will be the beginning of next week (weather permitting). I also remind you that it is always possible to collect a blister pack of mosquito repellent tablets free of charge from the municipality. I ask you to collaborate by doing your part: avoiding accumulations of stagnant water, keeping your greenery well-kept and putting the tablets in the drains. I remind you that the fight against mosquitoes is important to do together, especially in this period where cases of West Nile virus have also been found in our province”
