According to the fire hazard map of the Estonian weather service, the fire hazard is high almost throughout the country.
Medium fire danger only in the western islands and in some places in Western Estonia, as well as in Jõgeva County and in some places on the coast of Lääne-Virumaa. In all other regions, the fire risk is high, and in Valga County it is extremely high.
The weather forecast is that the situation will improve slightly with intermittent rain on Saturday and Sunday as fire danger levels drop to low to medium.
