by time news

The girl, who is of preschool age, came to the hospital in Sundsvall with intestinal bacteria in her blood, and the doctor then decided to call the municipal social services.

In his report, the doctor writes, according to Expressen, that there is a “concern that it is Münchhausen by proxy”.

The mother is suspected of having given the child unnecessary medication and injected intestinal bacteria into the girl’s blood. The girl was treated at the hospital for several months and according to the indictment there are at least four additional occasions when her condition was assessed as life-threatening.

The mother must have searched online for how to make her child sick without being seen, and also about how long it takes before you get sick from salt poisoning.

The mother is charged with attempted murder of her daughter but denies all charges.
