The mother and stepfather of the boy Thiago Vinícius Procópio Rocha said they are being threatened by the disappearance of the 2-year-old child in a park in Londrina (PR).

Crying, Leticia Fernandes, the boy’s mother, commented that she is being threatened and asked for empathy from the population at this time of looking for her son, who disappeared last Saturday (10). The statement was made today in an interview with TV Record.
The woman said that her son “is everything” in her life. “A mother never wants to find her child dead, she wants to find her child alive, smiling, playing. I can’t wait to take Thiago in her arms, breastfeed him like I always did”, he commented.
The child’s stepfather said he was afraid to go out on the street and get transport by app: “Will he see this repercussion, pull out a gun and shoot me?”. “What I want most is for him to show up. It will be a relief for his mother, for me. That’s all I want.”
The man explained that he drank alcoholic beverages with the child’s mother in Daissaku Ikeda Park, but that consumption was not excessive. He said he was feeling judged by other people: “They’re just here to throw rocks,” he said.
The child’s mother also declared that she is unable to eat and sleep because she wonders if the child has already fed. “I don’t know how he is, I don’t know if he’s okay, if he’s not okay, I don’t know if he’s feeling cold.”

“I ask that the people themselves have more empathy because we are suffering. I can’t live my life like I used to. I can’t walk outside. I don’t even walk down the street. I drive up and down the car. Why? For fear of reprisals. I’ve already been threatened. At any moment, a car can stop wherever I have it, it’s just me and the person in the car, kill me and that’s it. I had a crying spell and everything because I didn’t know what to do.”

Investigation
Yesterday, the Londrina Homicide Commissioner, João Reis, returned from vacation and took over the case, which was under investigation by delegate Lívia Pini. He heard Thiago Vinícius Procópio’s nanny.
An inspection of the couple’s car will be carried out with luminol, a substance used in crime scenes.to detect traces of blood and thus discard or confirm a thesis.
The couple said, in a statement to the police, that they spent Saturday in the park and that, when leaving, the child would have been placed in the vehicle. The park is currently deactivated and, as there is a river with current, one of the possibilities of the Civil Police is that the boy fell into the water.
O disappearance was only noticed by those responsible after driving for 4 km. When they noticed their absence, the couple returned to the park. The mother would have been desperate and unable to ask for help. A witness called the Fire Department and the search began.
The police detail that the car had a seat to carry the child, but that those responsible would not have stopped it. The mother also clarified that the son does not speak and suspects that he would be autistic, but the police reported that they still do not have a diagnostic report.
Police are not ruling out any possibility as to the cause of the disappearance.but asked the population to be careful and not to do a virtual lynching with the boy’s mother and stepfather so that injustices are not committed.
