The Motorola G Stylus lineup has been around for a while. The device is not comparable to Samsung Galaxy Note or Ultra in terms of features. It only has a built-in pen and a few note apps. However, they seem to be selling well, and Motorola has managed to keep the lineup alive and going. Now, the brand is gearing up for a new generation dubbed the Moto G Stylus 2023. Yes, Annual Editions are the most uninspired way to name smartphones, but we can’t change that. The device has appeared in a new leaked render that confirms some of its details.
Moto G Stylus 2023 phone details leaked
The Moto G Stylus 2023 is back in a new render thanks to OnLeaks. The device has a very mid-range design, so Motorola isn’t making major departures from the category. The device has a perforated screen, and the back has the classic Moto G design. We have a dual camera setup with a 50MP main camera leading the way. Given that this phone is likely to be a budget phone, we expect the secondary camera to be just a depth sensor.
Of course, the series’ signature feature is back, and there’s a built-in stylus. The Moto G Stylus 2023 also offers a USB Type C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. Looking at the render, this device was leaked last year as “Motorola Geneva”. For those unaware, Motorola likes to give location-based codenames to unreleased phones. According to the leak, the phone will pack up to 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Since it is a mid-range phone, we also expect it to bring Black Beauty and Crystal Gray colorways. Last but not least, it should come in 4G and 5G variants. So there will be different processors for each.
We don’t know exactly when Motorola will launch the Moto G Stylus 2023. The company launched several Moto G series phones last month, and more are coming soon. We expect more news in the coming weeks. With the advent of MWC 2023, the company may present some versions. The Moto G Stylus 2023 should get a quieter version, after all, it will be the highlight of the upcoming Motorola Edge 40 series.
