After a brief but successful presence in the Moto3 World Championship, the MTHelmets–MSi team has announced a new sporting adventure in the Moto2 category from 2024, a project that, according to the Spanish teaml, “maintains firm the commitment of the Motor & Sport Institute to accompany young talents to the top of MotoGP”.

In 2024, the Spanish structure will take over the vacancies left by the Sito Pons team at the end of this year. The historic expilot, who has a long history in the world of competition, and forty-two years as the owner of Sito Pons Racing, has decided to stop in his successful journey. Great motorcycling figures have passed through his ranks and he has been for all fans, a celebrity worthy of admiration.

This new initiation step in the intermediate category nor would have been possible without the excellent management of the team and its co-owners, that from the lower championships, they have believed in this project, allowing that thanks to their ambition, the advances can be experienced today, in addition, to have the unconditional support of all their sponsors, especially MTHelmets and Frinsa.

The MT Helmets MSI debuted in the Moto3 World Championship in 2022, and did so with Ryusei Yamanaka and Diogo Moreira in their ranks. This year, the Brazilian pilot repeats within the ranks of the Spanish structure, this time accompanied by the Malaysian Syarifuddin Azman; At the moment, Teo Martín’s team has not yet announced the names of the riders who will form his Moto2 box next season.
