Milestone and Dorna Sports SL announced today MotoGP 22, the next chapter of the two-wheel racing simulation game developed in Italy. The launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch and Steam of the title is scheduled for April 21, 2022. This sequel will introduce several new features to the already proven formula: (NINE) Season 2009 is a for relive one of the most famous seasons in MotoGP history. Players will be able to see a docu-film narrated by Mark Neale, director of the best MotoGP documentaries, with over 50 minutes of original footage. The archive videos will be interspersed with interactive moments thanks to dedicated challenges to relive the most iconic moments. Players will find themselves in the shoes of legendary riders like Rossi, Pedrosa, Stoner and Lorenzo, trying to replicate history. MotoGP 22 includes the entire 2022 season with all official content, including over 120 drivers and over 20 circuits. In addition, over 70 historic riders and motorcycles are available.
This year MotoGP 22 has also added new features dedicated to new riders, who are not familiar with the series and to those who simply want to improve their style and master the game mechanics. The tutorial is in fact revised and improved: it is a series of short game sessions with customized rules, to help new players understand the basics and feel safe on the bike. The new MotoGP Academy will teach you how to improve and perfect your riding style to be faster on every track, through specific challenges centered on electronics, tire wear, brake temperature and key differences between the three main categories. In addition, the Adaptive Difficulty System will help players through in-game pop-up messages, suggesting how to adapt and change the difficulty level according to their abilities. For example, the game might recommend lowering the difficulty if players do not complete specific challenges or enable some aids in case of too many crashes, or even suggest playing the tire wear tutorial in case they have finished a race with the tires in poor condition. These hints will appear at the end of the race and players will be free to follow them or not.
