jpnn.com – ARAGON – The 12th MotoGP series of this season, MotoGP Aragon, will be held at MotorLand Aragon, August 30 to September 1.

Reigning MotoGP champion Francesco ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia predicts a tight race between himself and Jorge Martin, Enea Bastianini and Marc Marquez. All Ducati riders, albeit on different teams.

“I’m happy to be here because I like this track, the layout is fantastic. Maybe it will be a battle between the four of us. Enea won the last time here (2022), I won in 2021, Marc won here six times, and Jorge is always fast. So, it will be a good competition,” said Pecco.

The Italian rider starts the weekend just five points clear of Jorge Martin in the standings.

Pecco’s teammate and reigning Aragon champion Bastianini agreed that all four riders could win and much would depend on opening practice on Friday (30/8).

“The new asphalt could change something, but first we have to try all the tyres,” said Enea Bastianini.

Meanwhile, Jorge Artin said that he was the only one who was unlucky because he had never won at MotoGP Aragon.

He has also not won a Sunday race since Le Mans, France.
