The checks were triggered after reports from local residents, who told the police about a group of local kids, almost all minors, who, with the warm weather, had started riding their motorbikes through the streets of Carisolo, Pinzolo and Madonna di Campiglio at high speed, without paying attention to the speed limits.
The Carabinieri managed to trace the perpetrators by looking at the footage recorded by cameras municipalities and organizing specific checks in the areas most affected by the problem.
The result is that 9 boys from Val Rendena they were identified and fined by the Carabinieri of Madonna di Campiglio and Carisolo for speed not commensurate with traffic conditions, overtaking in a built-up area and dangerous driving: fines totaling almost a thousand euros.
A young man caught driving on the main road in the municipality of Pinzolo with his scooter in a wheelie position had his vehicle administratively seized for 60 days.
