(ANSA) – ROME, AUGUST 15 – South African Brad Binder, riding a KTM, won the MotoGP class of today’s Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring circuit in Spielberg. In second place Francesco Bagnaia, on Ducati, third the other Ducati of the Spaniard Jorge Martin. Then follow Joan Mir, Luca Marini, Iker Lecuona, Fabio Quartararo and, eighth, Valentino Rossi, to whom the organizers of the race paid tribute with a helicopter that flew over the circuit dragging a tricolor banner with the face of the ‘Doctor’ and the written ‘Danke’. Quartararo leads the World Championship with 181 points, ahead of Bagnaia (134), Mir (134) and Zarco (132). (HANDLE).
