A 19-year-old motorcyclist died late Sunday afternoon (25), in the central region of Campo Grande (MS), in an accident involving a BMW. Letícia Machado Gonçalves was on her way to work, in a Honda Biz, and she was rescued, but he did not survive.
The luxury car was driven by Lucca Assis Mandetta, 26, nephew of the former Minister of Health and doctor Henrique Mandetta. The driver refused to take a breathalyzer test at the scene, was interviewed by Civil Police and released. The accident is under investigation.
In a statement, Wender’s lawyers Thiago dos Santos Braz and Vinicius Felipe de Oliveira Fernandes said the defense advised Lucca not to take the test.
