Tollywood actor Samrat Mukherjee was hit by a motorcyclist injured. The accident took place in Behala area of Kolkata on Monday (August 19) midnight. The young man was seriously injured. Actor Samrat was drunk while driving.
According to an Indian media, the accident took place on Raja Rammohan Roy Road in Behala late last night. Actor Samrat Mukherjee was driving himself under the influence of alcohol. The car lost control and hit the wall of a house first. Then a bike rider was hit and the rider was seriously injured. He was quickly rescued and admitted to the hospital. Samrat Mukherjee has been arrested by the police. He is scheduled to be produced in the Alipore court today.
According to another report, Samrat was returning home after work on Monday night. The accident took place near Raja Rammohan Roy Road in Behala. His red car also overturned after hitting the wall of a house. The police arrested the actor after seeing the CCTV footage of the street. The injured biker sustained injuries on his forehead and cheek. He was admitted to MR Bangur Hospital.
