Sivakasi: Motorists are suffering due to the dilapidated road in Sivakasi despite patching. It has been more than 10 years since the road from Sivakasi double bridge was constructed. Within a few years of laying the road, it has been damaged at many places. In this, the work of digging gravel and plastering was done from time to time. As the road is located along the banks of Sirukulam Kanmai, there is always water flow, so no matter how many times the road is repaired, it often gets damaged. A few days ago, the road was repaired as usual. However, the road was once again damaged by the light rain. Most of the school and college students go on this road. Heavy vehicles, buses going to Srivilliputhur and Rajapalayam use this road because of traffic congestion within the city. Therefore, measures should be taken to completely dig up the road and build a new quality road.
