Motorola launches its latest flagship smartphone, which is Motorola Edge 40 Pro That comes with the flagship chipset of 2023 – Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, 125W fast charging system and a large 50 megapixel sensor camera.

This smartphone has the same hardware as the one released in China, the Moto X40, but with a number of improvements, notably a much cleaner UI. and offers a similar experience to stock Android 13

The Motorola Edge 40 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. It has a 1080p resolution and has 2.5D curved sides and Gorilla Glass Victus on both the front and back. There is a fingerprint scanning system under the screen. and a 60MP selfie camera built into the hole punch. IP68 waterproof and dustproof body, 8.6mm thin, weighs less than 200g

Edge 40 Pro has two 50MP cameras on the back. The main camera is a 1/1.55″ sensor, OIS and f/1.9 aperture and a 117-degree FoV ultra wide-angle camera with autofocus, 1/2.76″ sensor, f/2.2 lens and the third camera is a 12MP telephoto sensor. 2.93″ f/1.6 supports 2X zoom

The battery is slightly smaller than the previous Edge 30 Pro at 4,600mAh with 125W charging, supports 0 to 50% charge in seven minutes and fully charges in less than 20 minutes. It also supports 15W wireless charging and Wireless reverse charging at 5W

The Motorola Edge 40 Pro will be sold in Europe and Latin America with a single memory, 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM + 256 GB UFS 4.0, no micro SD support and dual SIM support.

The Edge 40 Pro has IP68 rated water and dust protection (it can be submerged under 1.5m of water for 30 minutes). less than 200 grams
