This operation is part of the regular health and awareness campaigns programmed in the area of ​​support for maternal and child health, in partnership with the Provincial Delegation of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection and the association Health Initiatives and Development Aid (ISAAD), indicates a press release from the CPDH of Moulay Yacoub.

Around 2,200 people, including women, children and people suffering from chronic illnesses, from the communes of Sebt Louadaya and Mikkess, benefited from this medical campaign, which took place in Dar Taliba (Student’s House) and at Sebt Louadaya primary school, where they received specialized services, examinations and medical consultations.

Thus, 2,200 people benefited from general medicine examinations, 1,150 from gynecology services, 476 from pediatrics, 117 from pulmonology, 130 from gastroenterology, 260 from nephrology, 230 from urology, 196 from endocrinology, 250 from dermatology , 350 in dentistry, 11 in psychiatry and 520 of rheumatology.

Likewise, 460 people benefited from diabetes screening, 350 from ultrasounds, 220 from HIV screening tests and 200 from hepatitis.

The medical campaign program also included three awareness sessions for 290 women of childbearing age on the importance of the first thousand days of life, a crucial period for the mental and physical development of the child, as well as on the importance of early detection of breast and cervical cancers, good nutrition and ways to prevent chronic diseases, in addition to the distribution of free medicines to beneficiaries.

To ensure the success of this campaign, medical equipment, modern logistical equipment and human resources, including specialists and nurses from the partner association supported by administrative and technical staff from the province and the delegation, were provided. to contribute.

These activities are of great importance, reflecting the main objectives of the programs of the National Initiative for Human Development, which places the human element at the heart of its concerns through the implementation of various projects in different areas by supporting access to infrastructure and social services, social and economic integration of young people, maternal and child health, education of girls in rural areas and support for vulnerable groups, in accordance with the High Royal Directives of His Majesty the King Mohammed VI, who underline the importance to invest in the intangible aspects of human development.
