In a speech read on his behalf by the head of the Internal Affairs Division (DAI), the acting governor of the province, Abdelouahab Fadel indicated that this movement comes within the framework of the consecration of the principle of equity and equality in terms of coverage of the national territory and the continuity of the service of the public administration.
He added that this movement was carried out in accordance with the High Royal Guidelines, within the framework of an approach based on the valorization of human resources and objectivity in the evaluation of performance.
Through this movement, the Ministry of the Interior aims to enshrine the principle of recognition of the efforts and sacrifices made by officials during major events and in crisis management, the governor stressed, adding that it is based on the criteria of competence, merit and equal opportunities with regard to access to positions of responsibility in order to improve the performance of the administration in the service of the citizen.
Mr. Fadel called on the new authority agents to carry out their mission in compliance with the guidelines contained in the royal speeches and the provisions of the Constitution, with the optimal implementation of the prerogatives assigned to them in application of the laws in force and this, in consultation with all the actors including elected officials, decentralized State services and civil society.
On this occasion, he invited the new authority agents and those who were not concerned by this movement to be at the heart of the new challenges through the implementation of public policies and to contribute to the success of the next national deadlines, in particular the general census of the population and housing, while working for the good of citizens with the required seriousness.
The installation ceremony for these new authority agents, who number eight, took place in the presence of heads of external services, elected officials and civil society actors.
This movement of change takes place within the framework of the measures aimed at the valorization of the human resources of the ministry in the ranks of the agents of authority starting from the central role that they play in embodying the concept of public service, in accordance with the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, based on the principles of general interest, transparency, spatial justice and social cohesion, and in view of the constant commitment of the members of this body to meet the needs of citizens and to support the development process that Morocco is experiencing.
The transfer movement in the ranks of authority agents, carried out by the Ministry of the Interior, concerned 592 agents, or 23% of the total workforce of this body of the Territorial Administration.
