Coach Jose Mourinho has made it clear that he will remain in Roma emotionally after winning his first UEFA Conference League title. Mourinho said in tears after the match that he felt like a 100 percent Romanist.

Roma beat Dutch club Feyenoord to win the Conference League title. When Nicolo Saniola found the target for Roma in the 32nd minute, Feyenoord was unable to respond. Mourinho has been linked with a move away from Inter Milan.

“We made history today. A lot of things are still on my mind. I respect all the clubs I worked for. But now I’m one hundred percent Romanist, because these fans are incredible. I’ll stay in Rome, no doubt, and I’ll stay here even if some offers come.” Mourinho told Sky Sports.

With the conference league victory, Mourinho became the first coach to win all three major club titles in Europe. Mourinho has previously won the Champions League and Europa League in various years, as well as the Conference League title with Roma.

Mourinho also maintained his record of 100% victory in European finals. Mourinho’s various teams have played in five European finals and have not lost a single one.
