Speaking on the occasion of a visit to the participants of the second edition of the Program at the Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences Agdal, the Minister stressed that the participants were carefully selected, affirming that their number will be increased from year to year.
He also highlighted the large turnout of young people who were able to understand the concept of volunteering and the objectives of the program which aims to promote the values of solidarity, volunteering and collaboration among this social category.
Mr. Bensaid also paid tribute to the first promotion of the National Volunteering Program, considering that “Moutatawi3” was able to survive thanks to their initiatives, including the creation, after the completion of the first edition, of clubs in all Youth Houses nationwide and participation in the organization of the second edition.
Several conferences in different fields are organized within the framework of this program to meet the expectations of young people in terms of citizenship, human rights, entrepreneurship, social innovation, environment, sustainable development and new technologies, he detailed, noting that this diversity allows young participants to broaden their knowledge and contribute to social development projects.
Likewise, the minister continued, “Moutatawi3” offers training opportunities to young people, in addition to networking and knowledge sharing opportunities, thus enabling them to develop innovative projects.
Launched in July 2023 by the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, the National Volunteer Program “Moutatawi3” is dedicated to young people aged between 18 and 22 in all regions of the Kingdom.
The program is divided into two stages, the first focusing on training and the second on volunteering within partner establishments.
The areas of volunteering identified are the environment, sustainable development, solidarity and cooperation, education and entertainment, heritage and culture, health, promotion of social works and sporting events.
