MOVA has expanded its automated lawn care lineup with the commercial launch of the LiDAX Ultra 2000 AWD and LiDAX Pro 800 models. The new units bring 360-degree LiDAR and AI-driven mapping to residential yards, backed by a 2026 Red Dot Design Award win for the flagship AWD series.

The flagship robotic mower series secured recognition at the international level when MOVA claimed a 2026 Red Dot Design Award for its smart outdoor innovations. The award-winning lineup includes both the LiDAX Ultra AWD and standard Ultra series, which draw aesthetic inspiration from automotive styling and fighter jet profiles. According to the company, the designs pair streamlined body contours with heavy-duty mechanical performance.

Beyond aesthetics, the flagship machines incorporate an IP6K6 automotive-grade weatherproof rating. The hardware uses a black finish punctuated by red blade guards and a prominent red stop button located on top of the chassis. A built-in rain sensor monitors precipitation, holding the mower back or sending it directly to its charging station if a work cycle is interrupted by weather.
Navigation Platforms and Terrain Capabilities
Navigation across the new lineup discards traditional buried boundary wires and RTK positioning towers in favor of optical and laser sensors. The flagship Mova Lidax Ultra 3000 AWD relies on Ultraview 3.0 technology, combining a 360-degree 3D LiDAR unit with a 98.4-foot detection range alongside dual 1080p AI vision cameras for obstacle avoidance and border detection.
The optical system can identify over 300 distinct obstacle categories, including pets, humans, toys, hoses, and outdoor furniture. For mechanical propulsion, the AWD models utilize an all-wheel-drive system powered by four independent hub motors. This configuration allows the mowers to traverse steep slopes and uneven ground where standard machines lose traction.
For edging, the UltraTrim technology allows the cutting discs to move laterally, trimming within centimeters of boundaries or riding level surfaces to reduce manual touch-ups.
Pricing and Retail Availability
The expanded product family caters to property sizes ranging from compact urban lawns to larger half-acre expanses. The LiDAX Ultra 2000 AWD is available for $2,299 through multiple retail channels, while the smaller LiDAX Pro 800 launches for properties up to 0.2 acres.
Promotional retail bundles are also rolling out across major platforms. Mashable reported that the Mova Lidax Ultra 2000 is discounted to $1,399 from its standard list price of $1,799 at Amazon, with a complimentary robotic garage included. Both the Ultra and Pro variants integrate app-based scheduling, multi-zone map configuration, anti-theft geofencing alarms, and optional 4G cellular tracking via Link Service.
