‘Modern Warrior Live‘ to Feature Vietnam Veteran Leon Bibb
Warren, Ohio – Award-winning Cleveland broadcast journalist and Vietnam veteran Leon bibb will join the cast of “Modern Warrior Live” for a special Veterans Day performance at the Robins Theater on November 11th at 7 p.m.
“Modern Warrior Live” is an immersive production that blends music and storytelling to explore the experiences of military veterans. The show features Jaymes Poling, a Warren native and U.S. Army veteran, who shares his personal journey. Bibb’s addition promises to add a powerful new dimension to the performance, offering a unique viewpoint on service and resilience.
Herm Breuer,founder of Cover Down Fund,the presenting institution,emphasized the event’s purpose: “This is an event meant to start the conversation – to better understand one another. Robins Theatre Announces January Concert and November Presale
Warren, Ohio – The Robins Theatre will also host Brass Express, a tribute band celebrating the music of Chicago and other prominent horn bands, on January 17th. Local Historian to Lecture on ‘Pretty Boy Floyd’
Liberty Township, Ohio – On November 15th at 10 a.m., retired lawyer and former president of the east Liverpool Historical Society, Tim Brooks, will present a lecture on the life of notorious gangster Pretty Boy Floyd and his connection to East Liverpool.The event will be held at Denny’s restaurant, 4020 Belmont Ave, and is presented by the William Holmes McGuffey Historical Society.
Floyd’s story gained national attention after he was killed by pursuing police on a farm near East Liverpool in 1934. Brooks, a published author and Civil War enthusiast, will delve into the details of this historical event. Writers Group to Hold November Meeting
Austintown, Ohio – The Monday Night Writers group will meet on November 17th from 5-6:30 p.m. at Leana’s Books & More, located at 4317 Kirk Road.
