Bhopal: Once again, storm, hail and rain have started in Madhya Pradesh. For the second consecutive day on Monday, the weather has become pleasant due to rain and hailstorm at many places in the state. But this worried the farmers. On Monday, water fell in more than a dozen districts of the state. Heavy rain occurred in Seoni, Sagar, Narmadapuram, Singrauli, Chhindwara, Narsinghpur, Raisen, Sehore, Vidisha, Bhopal. Meteorologist PK Saha told NBT Online that looking at the current conditions, it is estimated that this rainy season may continue in the entire state till April 11.
According to Saha, this weather situation has arisen due to the activation of a cyclonic weather system and western disturbance. At the same time, due to moisture coming from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea, it is raining in different parts of the state.

Heavy rain in Bhopal

Even in the capital Bhopal, the sky is cloudy since Monday morning. There was heavy rain in the afternoon and thunderstorm conditions were created at many places. According to the Meteorological Department, 1.8 degrees rainfall was recorded in Bhopal and 4.6 mm rainfall was recorded in Bairagarh.
Crops damaged due to hailstorm
In Seoni district, due to heavy rains, crops got damaged at many places and in some areas, crops suffered huge losses due to hailstorm. Among vegetables, tomato crop and watermelon crop among fruits have also suffered huge losses. Watermelons kept in the fields burst due to large hailstones falling in the district. Mango crop has also been damaged. In some places the wheat crop has just fallen in the fields. At the same time, the wheat that had come to the market also got drenched due to unseasonal rain.
Warning of rain and hailstorm here: The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy hailstorm and rain in many districts. On Tuesday, there may be heavy rain with hailstorm in Betul, Dindori, Katni, Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Balaghat and Pandhurna districts. There is a possibility of rain in Bhopal, Sihore, Sidhi and Tikamgarh districts. Along with the rain, strong thunderstorms may also occur.
