This was conveyed by Bamsoet, his nickname, after attending the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia’s Independence Day Ceremony at the Garuda Palace Ceremonial Plaza, IKN, Saturday (17/8)

Bamsoet said that the ceremony to commemorate the 79th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia was very historic, because it was the first to be held in the IKN led by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and witnessed by one of them, President-elect Prabowo Subianto.

“This signifies a strong commitment from the current and future governments to the sustainability of the development of the IKN,” said Bamsoet.

Moreover, Bamsoet continued, Prabowo has also firmly stated his commitment to continuing the development of the IKN.

The 20th Chairman of the DPR explained that the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia’s Independence Day ceremony at the IKN has an important and strategic meaning in Indonesian history.
