jpnn.com – PDI Perjuangan General Chairperson Megawati Soekarnoputri was recorded thanking the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto after the abolition of TAP MPRS Number 33 of 1967.
It is known that this regulation contains accusations against the Proclaimer of the Republic of Indonesia, Soekarno or Bung Karno, as a traitor.
Megawati was initially grateful that TAP MPRS Number 33 of 1967 was removed, so that Bung Karno’s accusation of betraying the country could not be proven.
He spoke thus when delivering the opening speech of the PDIP’s 52nd anniversary at the Party School, Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta, Friday (10/1).
“Bung Karno’s accusation of betrayal is unproven and null and void, because no legal process has ever been carried out to prove the accusation,” said Megawati.
Bung Karno’s daughter hopes that in the future there will be no more politically charged regulations like Bung Karno experienced.
Megawati said that the PDIP extended family would like to thank all members of the MPR RI who abolished TAP MPRS Number 33 of 1967.
“Thank you very much to the leadership and all members of the 2019-2024 MPR,” said the Chairman of the BPIP Steering Committee.
