The appointment of Iswara, who currently serves as Secretary of the West Java Golkar DPD and also Chairman of the Golkar DPP, is the result of a decision at an internal meeting that took place recently.
Hasnan expressed his confidence that Iswara would be able to complete the various homework assignments faced by West Java Province, especially in increasing the human development index (HDI), which has become one of the biggest concerns in the region.
“Mr. Iswara is not only a politician with a wealth of experience, but also one of the best cadres that the Golkar Party has ever had, both in West Java and at the central level. I am sure that he has the ability and high dedication to carry out this responsibility and mandate,” said Hasnan in a statement.
Hasnan also highlighted the importance of synergy between DPRD leadership and the executive in achieving the development targets that have been set.
According to him, harmonious collaboration between the two institutions will accelerate the resolution of strategic issues that have been challenges in West Java Province.
“I believe that with Mr. Iswara’s leadership, the West Java DPRD will be able to establish close relations with the regional government, so that the resulting policies can have a direct impact on improving the welfare of the community,” said Hasnan.
