Mr. Akhannouch receives the President of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan
Rabat – The Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch received, Friday in Rabat, the President of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan, Sahiba Gafarova, with whom he had talks on ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, HE Ilham Aliyev.
The two sides expressed their satisfaction with the fruitful cooperation between the two countries, stressing the need to continue joint action to strengthen bilateral exchanges in various fields, said a statement from the Department of the Head of Government.
The meeting was also an opportunity to welcome the good political relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Azerbaijan, marked by mutual respect and support, the statement said, noting that the Republic of Azerbaijan supports the territorial integrity of the Kingdom and Morocco’s positions within international bodies.
