Mr. Akhannouch receives the Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs of the European Union and Cooperation
Rabat – The Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch received, Thursday in Rabat, the Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, who is on a working visit to Morocco, the first since the beginning of the new legislature.
This visit is part of the strengthening of relations between Morocco and Spain in various areas, including political, economic and cultural, indicates a press release from the department of the Head of Government.
During this meeting, the two parties welcomed the privileged relations of friendship and cooperation that unite the two countries, as well as the bilateral strategic partnership that the leaders of the two countries, HM King Mohammed VI and HM King Felipe VI, surround with their high solicitude, the statement said.
The two officials welcomed the agreement of views on the various issues of common interest, also praising the quality of the bilateral partnership, based on good neighborliness, mutual trust and permanent and constructive dialogue, particularly after the visit made in April 2022 to Morocco by the President of the Spanish Government, Perdro Sanchez, at the invitation of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, who established it as a multidimensional strategic partnership encompassing all areas of cooperation.
