Mr. Bensaid met with the Egyptian Minister of Culture, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Malawi, the Senegalese Minister of Culture in addition to the Ugandan Minister of Culture and the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Guinea, a statement from the ministry said.
He also had talks with the Minister of Youth, Culture, Sports and Relations with the Parliament of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, as well as with the Secretary of State for Culture and Arts of the Republic of Seychelles, added the same source.
These talks focused on strengthening bilateral relations and cultural cooperation, the exchange of experience and expertise in the field of arts, heritage, and academic cooperation between higher education institutions under the Ministry of Youth, Culture, Communication and their counterparts from brotherly and friendly countries, the statement said.
It was also agreed to organize joint cultural and artistic events and to strengthen coordination in various regional and international bodies.
Rabat, African Capital of Culture, hosted a two-day African ministerial meeting on culture in the presence of 30 countries of the Continent and which was crowned by a joint declaration welcoming the efforts of His Majesty King Mohammed VI in strengthening South-South cooperation and the development of Africa.
