Mr. Bourita holds talks in Marrakech with the Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Netherlands
Marrakech – The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, met, Thursday in Marrakech, with the Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Netherlands, Liesje Shreinemacher.
In a statement to the press following this interview, which took place on the sidelines of the Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund, Ms. Shreinemacher indicated that the discussions focused on various issues, including the strengthening of cooperation relations between Morocco and the Netherlands.
She also mentioned her visit on Wednesday to certain regions affected by the earthquake of September 8, reiterating her country’s solidarity with the Moroccan people in this difficult ordeal.
In this regard, the Dutch minister expressed her country’s willingness to contribute to the reconstruction efforts made by Morocco in the disaster-stricken regions, particularly in terms of supplying populations with drinking water and intensifying actions with a view to achieving sustainable solutions.
