Mr. Bourita meets with his Mauritanian counterpart
United Nations (New York) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad, Nasser Bourita, met in New York with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug.
During this meeting, held Tuesday on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, emphasis was placed on ways to strengthen relations between Morocco and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
The two ministers welcomed, on this occasion, the solidity of the bonds of fraternity and active cooperation which bind the two countries, as well as the convergence of views on a number of issues of common interest.
In this regard, the two officials also discussed ways to further consolidate these relations with a view to aligning with the aspirations of both countries.
