Mr. Mayara meets with the President of the Bahraini Council of Representatives

This meeting was an opportunity for both parties to salute the solidity of the exceptional relations between the two brotherly Kingdoms, based on cooperation, solidarity and mutual respect, which draw their strength from the strong and close fraternal ties between His Majesty the King Mohammed VI and His brother, His Majesty King Hamad bin Issa Al-Khalifa, indicates a press release from the House of Advisors.

In this context, Mr. Mayara expressed the determination of the House of Advisors to work to promote cooperation between the two legislative institutions in the service of common interests in view of current regional and international challenges.

He also underlined the importance of further developing bilateral relations, particularly on the economic and commercial levels.

For his part, the President of the Council of Representatives of Bahrain welcomed the solidity of political relations between the two countries, expressing his great admiration for the notable progress made by Morocco in various areas.

He emphasized the need to strengthen the economic aspect and take advantage of all available opportunities, in accordance with the aspirations of the Sovereigns of the two countries.

On the other hand, Mr. Al Musallam reiterated the constant position of his country supporting the Moroccan character of the Sahara in all regional and international forums.

The Bahraini parliamentary delegation is visiting Morocco to participate in the second edition of the Marrakech Parliamentary Economic Forum for the Euro-Mediterranean region and the Gulf, organized at the initiative of the House of Councilors and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (APM) on July 11 and 12 under the patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

The organization of this second edition of the forum reflects the PAM’s commitment to the process of strengthening parliamentary cooperation in order to create a more integrated and sustainable economic and financial zone between the Euro-Mediterranean countries and the Gulf countries, concludes the press release.
