Derek Lunsford Reigns Supreme at the 2025 mr. Olympia

The 2025 edition of Mr. Olympia concluded after two nights of intense competition at Resort World Las Vegas, marking the 61st anniversary of the prestigious event. The competition, which saw a strong showing from Italian athletes, delivered several surprising results and cemented the legacies of bodybuilding’s elite.

The night was highly anticipated by bodybuilding enthusiasts worldwide, and the event did not disappoint, showcasing amazing physiques and unwavering dedication.

Mr. Olympia 2025: Open Division

Derek Lunsford emerged victorious in the Open division,taking home the top prize of $600,000. He was followed by Hadi Chopan ($200,000) and Andrew Jacked ($100,000) rounding out the top three. The remaining top ten included Samson David ($40,000), Martin Fitzwater ($30,000), Nick Walker, brandon Curry, Tonio Burton, William Bonac, and Vitalii Ugolnikov.

Classic Physique Champions Crowned

In the Classic Physique category, Ramon Rocha Queiroz claimed the title, earning $100,000. Mike Sommerfeld secured second place with a $40,000 prize,while Terrence Ruffin finished third,taking home $20,000. The top five were completed by Josema Munoz ($7,000) and Ashley Kaltwasser ($6,000) rounded out the top five.

Andrea Shaw continued her dominance in the Ms. Olympia category, earning $50,000. Ashley Lynette Jones ($20,000) and Leyvina Barros ($12,000) secured the second and third positions.

In women’s Physique, Natalia Abraham Coelho emerged victorious with a $50,000 prize. Sarah Villegas ($20,000) and become benta ($12,000) finished second and third.

The Wellness Ms. olympia title was claimed by Eduarda Bezerra ($50,000), followed by Isabelle Nunes ($20,000) and Elisa Alcantara ($12,000).

Other Division Highlights

Keone Peanson won the 212 Mr. Olympia, taking home $50,000, while Rhea Gayle secured the Figure Olympia title, also earning $50,000.Michelle Fredua-Mensah was crowned the Fitness Olympia champion, winning $50,000.

Italian Athletes Make Their Mark

Three Italian athletes competed at Mr. Olympia 2025: Nadia Capotosto in Ms. Olympia, Gabriele Andriulli in the Wheelchair division, and Giuseppe Zagarella in the 212. capotosto achieved an impressive 8th place finish, despite facing challenges with musculature compared to her competitors. andriulli continued to demonstrate his consistency, securing a commendable 5th place in the Wheelchair competition, rewarded for his excellent symmetry. Zagarella finished 10th in the 212, a result that, while respectable, fell short of expectations given his excellent physical condition and definition.According to reports, his mass was a limiting factor against the division’s top contenders.
