Maputo (Canalmoz) – During the festive season, the gift that Mozambicans received with the assistance of the State was the lifeless body of a businessman, murdered by the individuals who kidnapped him on December 14th. The abductors had the macabre courtesy of calling the family members to pick up the body in a public place. The message is clear: the businessman was tortured to death because he was unable to pay the ransom that had been arbitrated since the day of the kidnapping. In any civilized part of the world, this should not only paralyze the country, to rethink the security of its citizens, but it should end up in political responsibility for those who proposed to guide the entire security strategy.
